so im looking at getting a comanche and the one i found is nearly perfect, except the guy said it doesnt get any spark, and it just heppened about two weeks ago, this caused him to lower the price and i really want it, he thinks it may be the crank positon sensor, what else could it be,

its an 87 with the 4.0

 

Did he say where it is not getting spark and when the power stops like power in the coil but not out of? I would say just go down with a meter and check it out and just talk to the guy. O and if your looking at it try and do a comp. test on all the cylinders.

 

no spark, no injector pulse but fuel pressure is good. Would be the symptom for cps.

 

Sounds like you're low on spark plug fluid.

 

thats exactly whats going on with it, im hoping to sell my atv so i can get it, there arent many people around here that want to buy a beat up old jeep, so thats a plus for me, so ill go down there and take a look at it and figure out what the deal is, maybe fix it there and drive it home, supposedly thats all thats wrong with it so if i get it than its a good buy
