Default No Spark!

I have pounded out my cat for some sound drove it a half mile shut it off and now it will not start... no spark any ideas ive heard maybe coil, crank sensor even oxygen sensor help....

crank sensor...and put a good cat back on there.

ive got a muffler on still does that matter or should i still put on a cat

Check the coil, distributor, plugs, wires(continuity), etc for spark. Go over every simple component.

The Cat is your choice. If they smog check in your area, you will need it back on.

Now the not running is asymptomatic of the CPS Crank Position sensor.
Check it with a multi-tester.

Probably not your coil, they almost never go bad. Check other spark components.

With a multimeter, the impedance should be 200ohms +/-75

90% chance its the Crank Shaft Position Sensor. Go to the auto parts store and get one, its like 90$, if it doesnt fix it bring it back. Very common problem.
