Got a spark tester? If not, get one. They're pretty cheap. Like this:

You need to find out if the spark is getting lost in the wire, or if it never gets to the wire. I know they are pretty new, but sometimes things die an early death. Don't assume they are good - test them.

Same for the rotor. Don't assume it's good. Test it.

I figured as much. you didn't sound like BS. Yea, 01 has coil packs and no dizy, and best I know those are two different plug manufactures.

Anyway the cam sensor might deal with "pairs". I'm still learning Renix!

I've seen trouble with autolites, also with platinum. I guess there is some change/discussion on which coppers, NTK or Champion. Without researching yours, I'd trust NTK. (and gap them to .035)

Whatever you want to call it, the deal on the bell-housing senses the crank rotation. The one in the dizzy senses cam rotation. The cam sensor orients the puter' to which rotation a given piston is on. The crank sensor doesn't know if that four stroke piston is coming up on exhaust, or compression. Is My .02 anyway.
