Default Compression test

Why wont ANY of the adapters in my compression test kit thread into the head of my cherokee? Its a 94 cylinder head and its a harbor freight compression tester. The thread if the plug and my adapter match but it won't thread in. am I missing some kind of trick here ?

Do you have a long reach adaptor on the end of hose fitting, or are you trying to thread the stubby fitting in...if so it won't work. You need the long reach adaptor.

When to the HF website and if this is your kit there's no long reach fitting in there. Get your money back.

yes that is my kit and no it dont have one. so i need one that has that piece on the end.. thanks for your help!
