All right guys I've been having some really weird ignition issues. It started out as random codes coming up. 0505 0320 and the 0300 so know what all the codes mean. I checked my iac looks fine not carboned up. My crank sensor was just replaced and fixed a bucking issue and that has not come back. So I do not need a crank sensor. I now have a hesitation sometime completely random. Come to find out today I have no spark in cylinders 2 and 4. Just changed the wires and plugs 3 months ago and haven't drove it more that 500 miles since. The distributor was fine at that point and it's still fine my rotor is good and my cap is good. Now I don't believe this to be a module or coil because it is ONLY cylinders 2 and 4. So here I am stumped absolutely stumped. I have no ideA what it could be. Nothing makes sense.

That actually really sounds like the pick up coil, mine was bad enough that when I did get the engine running, pulling at the wire. That comes out of the distributor towards the ignition coil(not the actual spark wires) I could actually make my engine stutter on command with each tug.

Is it an 01? I can't tell on the phone app ... plus the op never stated the year. One can only assume it's a pre-2000 when he mentioned the cap and rotor.

That's what is showing on his info. Also I thought Champion and Autolite were different brands. I'm sure there must just be some misunderstanding somewhere.

I'm not a fan of Champion spark plugs. NGK has worked great for me over the years. I installed the Accell tune up kit from www.summitracing.com and have noticed a smoother idle and my smog report showed I was cleaner this time around.

I use champion autolites???
