I've also noticed if I'm just kind of cruising along around 1500 RPMs and try to accelerate fast it'll cut out but slowly work up to it it's fine

Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail with the engine running. With the gauge hooked up, punch it and see if the fuel pressure drops off.

You should have 49.2 psi +/- .5 psi.

The fuel pressure tested find a used an analog gauge from AutoZone cell it was hard to say that it was exactly at 49.2 but it stayed consistent when I revved up the motor and even when it almost dies at idle but then catches it self pressure remained steady I am going to test Wire tn/bk #16 for resistance on the 200 ohm setting what number should I be looking for it to read ?

I don't think you'll find a new PCM.

Get the part number off the decal on your PCM then do a web search for that PCM. Include "Jeep Cherokee XJ PCM [part number]". You should get some hits from outfits that rebuild PCM's. I have no recommendations.

Hey there, After help my jeep wont start. has good compression, fuel. has brand new coil, cps, crank sensor, rotor, cap, plugs an leads, it does have skis, cranks but wont start. no clue what else it can be? please help haha. note all earths are perfect, so are fuses and relays, also no fault codes stored. have tested map an most senors to be ok. note i only have around 3v at senors instead of 5v required. so im assuming either skis is cause or faulty pcm?
