Head lights wont turn off on my 95 Jeep Cherokee - Lights just came on by themselves and now wont go off... any ideas?

 

Mine have done that, turn the car on, not running but to where all your electronics and guages come on, turn your lights on, then off.

My 88 light will stay on after I turn the key off if I leave the light switch pulled. When I push it in to shut them off the lights stay on until I turn the key back to the on position... then they will turn off .... very weird situation.

 

my 89 does the same thing but they eventually turn off by them selves if you leave it for a minute or two

 

I'll have to try that...

 

There is a delay if you turn the lights of after the ignition. So you can unlock your house without getting mugged or tripping on all the crap the kids leave laying in the yard.
