It's been a while so here goes. Help me XJ gurus! I've got no power at all! My battery checks out, my starter checks out, there's no parasitic draw (I'm reading .10 off of the negative terminal) so what gives? Could it be old battery cables? I've had worse! Fyi all my grounds are good.

Does the battery have 12 volts , if it does then you can have a bad cable just take a voltage gauge and start checking where you loose the voltage at .

Yea I'm thinkin my original battery cables are **** I just cut them back to reveal "good brass" and I got interior lights and half a turn out of the 4.0. Maybe time for an upgrade!!
