No one sells 1992 timing chain cover or gears/chain

Default No one sells 1992 timing chain cover or gears/chain

Title basically says it all, ive looked all over the net, and went to some local auto shops and nothing, last place is the dealership but the prices are so expensive... Anyone know where to get a timing cover gears and chain? For a 1992 jeep cherokee 4.0

You can find them all over the place.i have one sitting on my parts table well cover anyways. The gears and chain can also prob find. Your local to me so i can prob help a bit.

Looked at it and the timing gears and chain and cover all say discontinued part, this is what im running into everywhere

According to Rock Auto and Quadratec the old 258's and '92 and earlier 4.0's (+some 2.5 but I didn't go there) take the same cover and gasket set.

I was going to say rockauto had one for my 90, should have it for your 92. Pretty cheap and only took a week or so to get to me through standard shipping
