Took my jeep out today and it started knocking real bad noticed I had no oil pressure but its full of oil. Where should I start? Man this is almost worse than a boat.

 

I would start by pulling the pan and inspecting the pump and one or more of the main bearings and rod bearings,how long did it run at zero pressure?
Did it sound like lifters or worse?
I would not start it anymore.

 

It did sound like lifters . I just did an oil change if that means anything. Is the oil pump in the pan?

 

Yes the oil pump is in the pan,if it was just lifters you may be ok. Mine ran low on oil due to a leak and the lifters started making noise,put in some oil and it has been just fine since. You will need need to do some inspecting to find out what happened. Inspect the pump,bearing journals,and make sure the shaft from the distibutor is good.
