I just put some front tow hooks on my 99 cherokee anyone know of a L shape bracket I can buy to add a bit more strentgh to the front frame.

Wasn't too bad only took me about an hour and a half to do. and only broke the little bolts holding the front end caps all. Got to love Ohio winters.

 

How did you moun t your tow hooks? What kit did you use? Pics would be helpfull

 

They are made by rugged ridge. They sit outside the frame rail. There is a cross member on the front of the jeep with two holes in it and the frame rails stick out about 3" past them so the L brackets would connect to the front cross member to the frame rails.

Thats what the two pice in the center are for. They mount on the front side of the front crossmember.

 

Yes but I did not get those with the ones I purchased I am wanting to know where I can buy a pair of them.

 

Pretty easy fab job-just get some L steel and cut one leg shorter, drill the holes, and tack some nuts on for mounting.
