I haven't checked the starter fuse yet, I think I'll do that before I buy one. But its still under warrenty with rock auto, but I don't know if it will be covered yet. I'll be giving them a call today.

 

Will the starter turn it over by shorting across the solenoid terminals? If it does then the starter is likely fine.

 

Just swap it with one of the other relays in the box under the hood. If it starts relay is bad, just don't put the suspect relay in a vital spot like the fuel pump.

 

the starter was bad, i had it tested. and the fuse was also bad, thanks for the testing tips. im still trying to get my money back from rock auto cause its still under warrenty. The fuse was only a few bucks so no big deal.
