Question no exhaust question

I have a 2001 cherokee, the muffler is rusted out and weld is off holding it on to the car. So it makes a vibration when I'm idling its soo annoying. Can I take everything off from the cat back? I plan on getting exhaust in 2 or 3 months and I heard the inline 6 sounds nice without the exhaust. Let me know if I can do this because I heard mixed opinions about the backpressure.

Someone(local shop) removed my cat and now the pipe they put in place has came of and it sounds like complete ricer junk. Cant wait to get my new cat in(ordered from a vendor on the forum). But like I said thats even without a cat. Maybe a cat will make it sound a little better, but you could always just get a cheap repair kit or new hooks.

Dynomax superturbo cat-back kit, is approx 160$ on summit/jegs and they have a 75$ rebate going on right now.

I chopped it behind the cat and side piped it just infront of the right rear tire, I love how it sounds when I put my foot it it

just to warn you, it's going to be REALLY loud. Loud enough that you stand a good chance of getting pulled over for it. I ran without a muffler for a few days, and got a headache almost every time.

As stated will be noisy, not to mention the fumes that will come in when not moving.

x2. You think the vibration is annoying now wait until you take off the exhaust. I ran without a muffler for a few days and my interior had more vibrations than megan fox could handle. The whole inside rattled.

Performance-curve.com has affordable cat back system. Don't run without exhaust!

It will be annoying and uncool.

Good luck! Let us know!
