My title kinda says it all. I have a fully charged battery but I have no headlights, no dash lights, no electrical power what so ever. If I try to start my Jeep, sometimes I will get a *click click* out of the starter and then I still won't have any power to the Jeep. Anyone know what could be causing this? I've checked, double checked, and triple checked all the wires I can get my hands on with my DVOM both voltage and resistance wise and so everything looked find and checked out fine. I'm getting really sick of just watching my Jeep sit on my side lawn and rot away.

Hey Man, I'm having a similar problem. After splashing through deep water, I came home, and the next day the jeep wouldn't start. Here is what I know:
-Both of the 60A fuse sockets have continuity across them (which they shouldn't)
-Those fuses are wired in parallel and connected to the alternator
This might indicate that the alternator has some sort of short in it that is causing the fuses to have that continuity. Let me explain:
With everything connected, I put one meter lead on the pos battery terminal, and the other lead in the 2 sides of the fuse sockets. In a proper circuit, there should be continuity between the pos terminal and one side of the fuse socket, but not the other (because this side goes to the alternator). I will try replacing the alternator first, since i have looked at everything else. Hope this sharing of info is helpful.

its literally a brand new alternator and i haven't been through any water. i haven't driven it in over 7 months either, but i keep testing the battery and everything. i'm going to try testing the continuity across my 60A's tomorrow (my tools are all at work, and being a college kid i can't afford like 3 sets of tools)

so i have a similar problem . i have no power whats so ever to my 90 xj . my battery has a full charge and yet i have no power to my fusebox ... is there a relay under the hood or something that would cause that ???????????? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Gotta get a mm and start tesrtbg to see where you have power and where you don't. Test light is actually easier.

ive done that also the battery source on the fuse box doesnt have power so im just gonna run a switch to my ignition to get it to work thanks for your help ....
