Angry No crank.

Ok I have a 98 Cherokee sport. I replaced rings and rod bearings. After it seized I didn’t realize what was wrong. So after a few attempts the starter wouldn’t even try to crank over. I replaced starter, Ive jumped the NSS and replaced ignition switch. I have constant 12v to starter but I’m getting nothing to my starter from the ignition signal wire. I have no idea at this point on where to look. Both starters are good and will crank over. I’ve even changed my sensor wiring harness. Any ideas will help at this point. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the starter fuse and relay?

The ignition switch feeds the close/energize contact of the start relay D13 through the 10A fuse 19 in the junction block. ..the ground D11 is thru the NSS. Once energized the battery voltage for the solenoid (on) wire goes thru 30A fuse 10 in the PDC and into the start relay D10. If energized the voltage goes thru and out D14 to the solenoid wire (small) on the starter. If there is 12v on the big wire from battery...starter should turn. Can you turn engine with a 1/2 drive 3/4 inch socket on the big bolt in the harmonic balancer easily if the plugs are out For some reason I cannot upload the pictures

Sorry for the late reply been at work. I figured out the issue. Dumb me didn’t think to clean where starter bolts to bell housing. So needless to so it didn’t have a ground connection. Thank you for the info though.
