Default No Bus

They quit honoring the recall a few years ago. They don't offer the part numbers from the recall. But I feel like I read in this forum that somebody is offering those connection on the back of the dash to fix this problem. Am I dreaming? My no bus recall search got me nothing.

My son in law has done all that. I won't talk to to him till Tuesday. It started after putting heater core in and putting dash back in. I would loose speedo and tach when turning blower speed to high. Didn't take long until on speed 3, then 2 soon after, then 1. Now it just does any time. It comes back shortly then out again. But now that it doing with out even turning HVAC on, when I do turn HVAC on the dash lights dim. They get dimmer with each increase in fan speed. Like I was saying it started with only blower speeds affecting the bus, and started after disturbing the dash. The connector on the back of the cluster appear to be okay, no corrosion or visually broken. Really a shame, the heater core has allowed to get warmer but still not as hot as it should be. Appreciate the response.

Forgot this was here. Check the grounds at the lower corners of the dash. I have heard of those being loose, or overlooked entirely after a heater core install, and the vehicle starts acting wierd.
