No brakes and weird smell help!!

Gatorbait.......apologies for not getting back,,, lots o stuff goin on in the 'wrenchland.....

yes 2 to 3 hours is right.

the reason.......

once you loosen the hose from the caliper and let it drain COMPLETELY it takes a while to get all the brake juice out.....then refill and bleed, refill and bleed, refill and bleed .......well you get the idea.

the actual removal and reinstallation of the hoses only takes like ten minutes per side,,,,,its all teh other things you have to do to make sure you did it right as 89renix says "take your time"

ahh ok thanks.... Because i installed brake lines today in literally 5 minutes and im like i defintely have to be missing something.... but yea the bleeding makes sense to be the time consumer thanks!
