Default No 4wd

Hi guy

Just snowed here, took the jeep out to have a play and guess got stuck straight away.
Look under the the jeep and rear prop is turning but not the front.
Any ideas what the problem may be.

Check your Transfer Case Linkage.

Check vacum line to front axle. The fork in the front axle might not be engaging all the way.

I had the same prob. It was the actuator on the front axle.. Bought mine for around $100. really simple to replace.. be sure to get more gear oil also

Don't replace it. Bypass it...there is a link in the write up section.

We gotta figure out if its the CAD or something else, though.

If the front shaft wasn't spinning it may not be the CAD, it may be something else.

Thanks for your replies.

My jeep doesn't have the vacuum system,also I forgot to say when I select 4wd low,I get the low ratios but still only 2wd.

If the chain broke would I get any noises for the transfer box
