No. It's just that if you did, sometimes they won't idle well afterward and require a few starts to re-learn their settings.

Connection is good, but it was very dirty , gunky....ya may be right, but if I get a new one and it does the same, ill flip you know what...

Visually inspect the integrity of the terminals inside the connecors. Retracted, bent or otherwise messed up?

Who knows? Anything else in the area that coulda gotten bumped? Maybe remove the IAC again and inspect for a broken o-ring?

Ahh haa, the o ring was damaged, so u kept it on there and put a beed of gasket sealer also, I had a small tube of it...i did disconnect the other doo hicky next to it too, ecm maybe? For a bit more room....

Get a new o-ring and check the plug on your TPS, the doohingy. It's easier to clean the later model throttle bodies such as yours by removing them first, and reinstalling with a new gasket. Gives you a chance to really clean the throttle body thoroughly also.
