Default Newbie Needs some help!!!
ok my buddy just blew his rear rear and he doesnt kno how to tell what gears are in it. the truck is all stock. anyone know how to tell besides takin it all apart and counting the gears?

Should be stamped on the ring gear.

If it's not completely lunched, couldn't he count the rev's of the drive and axle shafts?

the front diff usally has tag wich will tell you. rear will be the same

Yes but he was trying to avoid that. If first two options don't work he might have to do that though. Lol
