I have a 97 jeep cherokee. the doors will not lock from the drivers side door.they all lock from the passenger side but not from the drivers side.i tried a new master switch and i checked all the wiring inside the door. and the wiring that goes through the door to the interior.anyone have any other ideas??

 

You may have a problem with the wire harness that runs under the carpet right where you rest your feet. For some reason Chrysler engineers thought it would be a good idea to run a wire harness right where you rest your feet. You might have to peel the carpet back so you can inspect those wires. Not all models have this harness but some do, I'm just not sure which ones.
