hey guys. Im going to have to change my U-joints on my 1990 pioneer edition with a dana 30 in the front. Does anyone know if i would have C clips or is it a non clip axle in the front?

The way you pose your question is a bit confusing. Are you asking if the U-Joints have C-clips, or if the axle shafts are retained with C-clips? To answer both:
1) Yes, the axle U-joints have C-clips which will need to be removed (and likely) replaced.
2) To my knowledge (and others please correct me), no 4x4 solid front axle can be a "C-clip axle". By nature of the axle's need to steer plus a driven hub assembly, 4x4 fronts are more like "full floating" axles.
The Dana 30 is not a C-clip axle. Once you pull the hub off the knuckle, you can pull the axle shaft out of the tube without any more work.

The axles will pull right out without removing the diff cover if that's what you're asking.
