Okay thanks for the input it will end up being my dd and I am sure I will do some weekend warrior trailing. Maybe unibody stiffeners may not be the route I am looking to go?

Nice I will keep an eye out for chassis saver gonna head to napa today. Ha wow sanborn is only 6 hours away I was hoping it would be closer would be nice to have someone with welding exp show me the ropes ha ha.

Okay I got the new gas cap and did the reset with taking the negative battery terminal off for 15 min then did the headlight trick and the check engine light is still on. I checked the lines I cant see any cracks or breaks but I know that doesn't mean there is not one there. I also checked the fuse for the evap and it was good.

from what I can see in the pics the rest of the floor pan are in really good shape.For the body rail I would just put some rust killer on it and then encase it and tie into a good section on the rail,problem solved and its stronger than stock.

Sorry new gas cap didnt work but at least you did rule it out as a culpruit & good luck on finding the prob. post answer when found
