New wheels for bigger tires?
I have factory 15x8 wheels on my xj and I am soon getting a 4.5 inch lift and was wondering how big of tire I could put on those wheels? I was wanting to run 33x12.5's do you all think those will fit? and how much trimming will I have to do if I want 33's?

for a 33 i would look for a 15 x 8 with about 4.00 to 3.75 back spacing to keep you from rubbing the control arms and everything else when you wheel

Round a bout the same question. I have the factory "Fin" type wheels on my Jeep. They look like an upgrade to the regular wheels and I was wondering if any of you guys would know what size they would be? 7's or 8's Don't want to have to break down the tire just to get some figures. The fronts sit in board of the flare about 1 1/4" and the back is much further in. I've got my 31x10.50's but not sure if they will fit. On a side note I only wheel about 2 to 3 times a summer and it's nothing serious, mostly a highway rig. Every two weeks a 300 mile weekend round trip to the camper.
No lift yet , but planning to go with a 2" this summer.
Thanks for the help
