How can i get that off. and i dont know if that mm is different from the rest of the bolts. any ideas on how to get that last bolt out?

Maybe try cleaning the bolt with your hand a little? maybe it has to much gunk on uit and is making the socket not fit right?
I know when i did mine i had to use a deep socket and put the socket on it first and then add an extension since it is so close to the firewall it was a pita.

yeah. that seems to be my problem. the firewall is to close to the socket to get even a half a turn. so i put on a extension. that didnt work.. so doubled extensions. but ill try cleaning it first. then ill be posting again. maybe with pics. of how rough the valve cover is

well i got the valve cover out. and the gasket just sorta fell out. and it was broken in one place. but was in sad shape. so later im going to stop by autozone and hope they have one for me. along with an oil filter. but will the cork gasket sit on the valve cover better than the old rubberish one.

Sealant is cheap, and I believe it calls for it anyway. Many of the write ups call for RTV. May as well do it right the first time, otherwise you might find youself taking it apart again.
