just hit the market recently and is the product of a few years of R&D.
i think its a great alternative to the 505 and Hesco kits mounting style.

WTF would you want a turbo on the XJ?!?!?!?!?!
Acceleration is adequate, pulls another XJ ok.
Then just HTF are you going to keep it cool?
The wifes XJ has a new cooling system in it and I used it the other day to tow home the Money Pit and it was bumping 90+ outside and as I came up the drive it started spewing and overheating.
Maybe if you was mud dragging one then it might be ideal.

Agreed. In playing with a buddies jeep with a turbo found that the stock manifold seems to remove most of the boost. Found it a little difficult to dial in but the advantages have been nice. Power on the highway between trails is amazing and almost worth having melted two blocks. Found that 10 psi with no intercooler is the max. Best is been around 7 with no issues to reliability of the engine. Course we tend to play a little different here in MI.

Seems to work pretty well. Looking forward to seeing some dyno results.

log style turbo manifolds have been proven year after year to be a decent set up. its not the best but works great for daily drivers not trying to produce huge numbers. most stock turbo manifolds are log style and last the life of the vehicle.
i know the bmw 524td manifold is log and is a great upgrade when doing a home brew turbo kit using stock bmw parts for any e30 325e or 325i.

I think if it is tuned well you could have a jeep that is a lot nicer to drive on the freeway. These 4.0L seem pretty anemic up top. If you could tune it so you don't loose bottom end grunt these 4.0L have and benefit from turbo at higher speeds then I think it makes a lot of sense.
Well I guess it looks good on paper anyway

This is a great alternative to a stoker motor to get more hp and torque. If i had the money and know-how about turbo, i would jump on this. Then again i would stroke and turbo and tear up the street, strip and trails with it. What a sleeper that would be!
I wish the guy would post dyno results already, Ive been watching that tread for weeks. There are several people who turbo-ed their 4.0L, just got to search for them, and they all are awesome!
