Default New springs?

Just put on new leaf springs in the rear and now the front looks a little low. Should I put on new springs in the front or just add a shim?

That is up to you. Neither will hurt so it depends on if you want to buy spacers and replace springs later or just put in new springs and not worry about it for a while.

I'd either get a spacer or leave it alone. If the leafs are new, they should settle.

Well lets put it this way. Did you put stock style leaf springs or a lift pack. Also how many miles on your old springs. Can't say put a spacer cause if those are stock coils, a spacer is a waste of time. So OP, how bout it

New stock leaf springs. My son broke one of them and now the front appears a little low since replacing the rear. I don't really want to raise it so I can keep the center of gravity low. I bought the jeep for my son when he was 12 and now he is 15. I'm getting it ready for the regular road soon, since its been off-road for the last 3 years mostly. See the photos I put in the album for opinions on what I need to do next.

Were they stock regular springs or the HD ones. They will settle. If you wanted to raise the front do so with stock style coils. Don't use spacers.

No problem. It'll be like a whole new jeep afterwards. While you do coils, check the shocks. Take one of and open and close it. See how much resistance it gives you. If you're gonna keep this jeep stock, there's still stuff to make sure it rides like a jeep

Hey roler, how's the gas mileage like that?

You can just put it in neutral and it'll roll everywhere right?

I don't think it actually has a neutral, only "Park" and "Launch", haha.
Not my ride though.

do the front oem springs sag as bad as the back ones ? I am planning on hd oem replacements in the back , I already know it'll have that hillbilly rake, which I do not want.

I'm not opposed to a puck , but I'd rather replace the front springs ... to continue my effort in total jeep restoration lol
