Default New rotor, wheel wont spin...

Would anybody have any idea, why my tire wont spin?
I replaced the rotor, caliper, and pads.. Spins, until I tighten the lug nuts. Soon as they're tight. It's a brick..
I put the old rotor, next to the new.. They are exactly the same, just the old one worn down more.. But they are the same rotor.. Am I missing something?

Is your rim hitting the new caliper?

Check the caliper and make sure it's not hitting the rim.
Try pumping up the brakes till there is a pedal and try it again.

Other thing to is bolt the rotor down with the lugnuts. if it does not spin.. Assuming maybe you put new caliper bolts in to.. They maybe to long and are jamming against the rotor.

Let us know what you find.

I took the caliper off, and just put on the rotor, with lug nuts..
No spin.. This has to be the wrong rotor.. It looks just like the one I took off though, just new.. But all I can think of is wrong rotor..

is it hitting the knuckle or tie rod?
I've never ran into this on a xj before unless new caliper bolts were to long..
Weird.

I took a closer look, and there isn't enough clearance behind the rotor. I called Advance auto.. I guess Wearever (the brand) makes two that are supposed to fit.. But only one does.. So something to watch out for.. I got the wrong one.. The right part number for Wearever that fits a 99 sport is YH145276..
I'm off to return these bad boys..
Thanks for your help man. Was about ready to toss these into the road and take a nap lol..

That's a common problem on the 99. Mid year they changed the rotor and hub, and they're not compatible with each other. I think the split was 3/99, btu most catalogs don't have it in there. The one you got that didn't fit, could have been correct for a different 99, just depends on build date.
