Default new radiator

hey any ever heard of or using a champion alum. radiator? trying to get my jeep to run a little cooler found the champion all alum 3 core on ebay just wondering if you guys have any expirience or advice with em. also if im doing my rad. should a go ahead do my water pump? im pretty sure its still factory from 89 along with the rad. any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

Absolutely, positively install a new (not reman) water pump as well as a new t-stat and cover and new fan clutch. Much easier to do with the rad OUT.

x A WHOLE FRIGGIN BUNCH!!

When I did my rad swap, I did the t-stat housing and t-stat with the rad out. Easy as cake... except I forgot to put RTV on the gasket. A couple months later, I needed a new gasket cuz it was leaking, and it WAS A PITA. So follow djb's advice!!

Probably t-stat housing. The cover for the t-stat.

Yep......t-stat is under the cover/housing (just above the water pump).....cover is attached with 2 bolts.....use RTV sealer on both sides of gasket (water pump and T-stat cover).

Go to radiatorbarn.com and get a CFS 3 row rad.
So far so good.

using a three core you need to watch fan clearence why not just upgrtade to the newer system with over flo can

does that help it cool? where did you find your parts and how much did it all cost im on a budget and wanna get the jeep running soon. maybe a little more info could persuade me
