new rad installed still hot

There are water pumps that turn clockwise and ones that turn counter clockwise. What is the history behind the cooling system. Was the block flushed, how about the heater core. Pull the thermotat and test it. The pump pulley may move and the impeller may be shot also. Are both hoses getting hot?

I've been looking at fans and have come up with what I think is the ultimate fan.

This baby doesn't mess around. Pulls 2000 cfm. I am going to mount two. Anyway, check it out.

I have dual electric fans now in a shroud I made. But I have air flow issues. I am doing several things to correct that, one of them being doubling the air flow of the fans.

The normal airflow of an electric fan is 600 - 1000 cfm. These bad boys flow 2200 cfm when single and 2000 cfm in tandem. And they are only 11" in diameter.

another thing you guys might not be considering is the possibility of air being trapped. if replace the coolant at some point you gotta make sure to purge all the air outta the system, or you will have problems like mentioned above. this is a problem i had in my mustang, i would drive it for about 30 minutes and it would start getting hot, i noticed that it couldnt be a problem with radiator or the waterpump. because when i would turn the key on 5 minutes after it was really hot and the temp would be down below normal conditions. i ended up tipping the nose of the car up in the air and left the radiator cap off the radiator and left the car running until the stat opening and it purged all the air outta the system, and my car has been perfect temp wise ever since. just a thought.
