maybe the radiator wasnt the cause of the overheating.

When does it overheat???

Is it when you idle for a while, or steady-cruising, or cruising-then-stopping?

We will try to work through it.

did you get the correct amount of fluid into the system? Does it just go straight past 210, then keep climbing? Maybe thermostat?? Water pump?

Hi John, It may be your water pump that's bad like ,mycherokee1989 stated, if it continues to overheat try replacing that because after some time the impellers deteriorate and wont pump enough water while driving...Tj

Yea I know the feeling, after replacing most of the cooling system I still run a little hot when I'm on the beach. I'm gonna put a high volume 2 speed Ford Taurus electric fan in and see what that does...Tj

I have the same problem when I am steady cruising, I have replaced radiator , thermostat (180), and water pump. I eliminated the engine driven fan and have two electric fans. I run around 210 driving and then it bounces up and back down. then I have the resivour bubbling. So I have decicded to fix it. I am selling the jeep!!!

Ah yes, cooling system woes. I have been addressing some of these same issues. But in your case, like mine, those bubbles may indicate a blown head gasket. I realize that is not what you would want to hear, but I bet if you replace it things will stay much cooler.

I've been looking at fans and have come up with what I think is the ultimate fan.

This baby doesn't mess around. Pulls 2000 cfm. I am going to mount two. Anyway, check it out.

another thing you guys might not be considering is the possibility of air being trapped. if replace the coolant at some point you gotta make sure to purge all the air outta the system, or you will have problems like mentioned above. this is a problem i had in my mustang, i would drive it for about 30 minutes and it would start getting hot, i noticed that it couldnt be a problem with radiator or the waterpump. because when i would turn the key on 5 minutes after it was really hot and the temp would be down below normal conditions. i ended up tipping the nose of the car up in the air and left the radiator cap off the radiator and left the car running until the stat opening and it purged all the air outta the system, and my car has been perfect temp wise ever since. just a thought.
