Default New at this! >< need help.

Hello guys,

I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee country with no mods on it. I want to start working on it as a project car so I can take it off roading with it when me and my friends go quading. Now the first thing I want to do is lift it and put on some tires on it BUT I know if you put over sized tires on a car your pushing the engine more. So my question is what kind of check list should I do before even starting this project.

Thanks.

You can go with a 3.5" lift, 31" tires you should be fairly good, you said youll be riding quads, if you will be towing a trailer, definately look into adding an auxillary trans cooler if you have the auto and mabye a regear if you will be towing up some steep hills and taller tires. Replace/upgrade/Refresh your cooling system should be your #1 priority as hot weather is just around the corner.

So if I lift the jeep and put on bigger tires the motor should be fine?
