New muffler... breakin period

New muffler... breakin period
So i ran outta money, stupid gas attendant put gas in my diesel box truck...
so i went cheapo and bought the thrush turbo.. after putting it on it gives a nice rumble at idle but once i get over about 2k rpms it sounds stock. Is it just the thrush or is there a break in period?

My Thrush Turbo has a nice little rumble at idle as well. Mine drones like mad at 42-45 just after the shift into 4th. Over 50mph it quiets down a fair amount. I am pleased with mine.

Thanks, maybe i just got used to the sound of no muffler. Well i'll prob. just leave it, it isn't to to bad just wonderin.

uh-oh. Just my personal preference is a lifted jeep going down the road with tires sticking out, looking over the top of cars, everyone looking at what you have, why create anymore attention with a loud exhaust. Now im not a loud exhaust **** cuz my cummins diesel with a straight pipe is loud. This is just my opinion. I love sneakin threw the woods in my jeep
