You may want to narrow this down to 1 issue at a time.

lets just start from the top haha. i only paid 200 for it. with 140,000 miles. i dont think i got shafted to bad. theres no rust in it and the body is in good shape for the most part. had to get a new hood bc it started on fire due to the power steering.

I will recommend that if you are really using that much coolant, just use water. Way cheaper and less likely to kill the neighbors dog.

Please don't take my advice, but here is what I would do...
Find your friends who have a winch or some good straps and chains and call them all and make sure that they'd be willing to help a fella out. Get ya some cheap mud tires of any kind and take that bugger wheelin and pound the fire out of it till it dies.

Might want to get ya another daily driver so when this one goes poopie u'll still be able to go to starbucks

For 200 bucks you basically have nothing to loose. It sounds like you might spend 2-3 thousand trying to get this fella up to par. For that much you can buy a pretty reliable jeep without all the qwirks.

Send me a pic of it 4 feet off the ground. It'll be the funnest summer you ever had

Is it steam or is it a mist of power steering fluid?

runs hot but i have all new hoses radiator waterpump thermostat ect.

Plan on buying a Radiator, but could be a cracked head/bad head gasket.

makes a popping noise when i turn left.

Check the U-Joints in the axle shafts.

passenger door opens from outside but not the inside unless you hold the unluck button and open the handle.

I havn't dug into the door interiors, but I would look for a missing spring or a loose latch.

tranny leaks fluid like mad from what looks like the main seal maybe?

This is a big job, pull the tranny out, replace the front seal.

looses coolent like no other. have to add a gallon every 2 to 4 days

See above, cracked head or blown head gasket.

oil pressure is all over the place

Bad sending unit, hook up a manual gauge and verify the pressure.

air doesnt blow very hard

There is a ballast resistor pack, that gives you low, med and high, assuming you mean the blower motor doesn't do variable speeds. If its truly not blowing hard, check the vacuum control for the vent switch.

cruise doesnt work

Could be a vacuum issue, and be related to the interior vent doors not changing, there is a vacuum bottle if its missing/disconnected your vents will not work right or your cruise.

e brake doesnt work anymore (it used to)

You need to adjust the cable, take up some slack, OR its time for brakes on the rear.

ignition is sometimes hard to get to turn over

This could be an issue of dirt build up inside the column, but I would tend to think its a tumbler assembly going bad. Its not terrible hard to change, but you have to use a special tool to compress steering lock collar to remove the Circlip then you can gain access to the interior. I would also suggest going a little deeper in there and make sure the bolts that attach the top/tilt section to the base are still torqued down since your there.

breaks loose fluid after about 2 months.

Brake fluid loss, or is it just normal wear and expansion of the calipers and or the rear wheel cylinders. Might be related to the e-Brake, and you really need a barke job on the rear.

makes a grinding noise in 4wd

Check/change the oil in the transfer case. It only holds about 1.5 qts of ATF, so its cheap to change it. I would also pull the fill plugs on the differentials and stick my finger in to see how much oil is there. Look at hte color also, if its WHITE/Milky pull the covers and replace it with gear oil. It has water in it.

leans to the left on the back half of it

Check for cracked/broke leaf springs.

these are the problems i havnt figured out. i had about 50 more problems but i got the going ok.
It looks like alot of work, but treat it like eating a elephant and start with one bite at a time.
