New Jeeper, got an annoying noise

Ok I freaked out when it started smoking, figured id just have to wait until tomorrow to figure out something else. But when I took off my intake manifole I removed my fuel rail and pulled out my injectors and I put them back in but at the first injector I can here a sucking in sound like a little vacuum.

Probably damaged an o ring.

Alright Ill replace those tomorrow, when I put them on and certain type of oil I should use to lube them?

I believe vaseline in a moderate amount works fine. I would wait for somebody with more experience to chime in first though. I'm not 100%

I always use fuel oil. Good old diesel. K1. Whatever .

I read that vasoline is a pretty popular choice for the injector o-rings
