Default New Jeep, New problems

Just bought me a 1997 Cherokee Sport with 202,000 miles for a cheap 2k. Already has a 3 inch lift and new 31 in tires. Here's the problem, it randomly likes to die.... Everything will be normal and then it just dies and starts right back up with no problems. Buddy of mine said it might be sensors on fuel bar? Any other suggestions?

Lots of possibilities, but CPS and fuel pump are probably high on the list.

Any codes/Check Engine Light?

No codes or check engine light. Only thing it does have is low oil pressure.

thanks! I'll start there and then move to the fuel pump. It's really hard to start sometimes. It'll crank as crank and crank, then finally start up and idle rough for a few seconds then finally smooth out... Then it'll run for about 5 minutes and then die. After it dies it'll start up just fine then die again about 5-10 minutes later.

I'd definitely look into the CPS and fuel pump...
