Hello all, I have a 95 XJ with a 4 litre, auto trans, 4X4, 6" lift with 32's. it mhas 189000 miles on it so far. I've had my jeep for 8 years and recently it's started running hot. I replaced to h2o pump about a year ago as well as the T-stat. the problem started on grades if I was running the AC. then it would do it with the AC off. if the light started to come on I'd turn on the heater and it would cool down. I've checked the fan clutch and electris fan (both ok) last night I replaced the radiator and T-stat and flushed the block. hopefully that will cure the problem. the engine is still pretty stout but I'm concerned it may be getting tired and that's causing the high temp issue. anyone else have simular problems? what was the end result with yours?

I took my Jeep up to the mountains today for a shake down run and running the AC going up the grade it never got hot. looks like my cooling system is fixed I'm not sure what the temp was, I haven't installed the gauge yet but the idiot light never even flickered.
