Default New guy here.

I am a new xj owner. I have a 90 xj with a fresh 4.0, aw-4 and np231. Bone stock at the momment. I am getting ready to install new d30 with ox locker ,4.88 rp and chromemolly axles. Rear will have detroit and 4.88. On board air and a winch. 36" iroks and 9" of lift. Not sure how much travel but that will be determine.

D35, I will have pictures soon. Iwill try by the weekend. I know the d35 is a week link but it will be upgraded with Yukon axles soon also.

Dude, don't spend any cash on the TURDY 5 (D35). Find yourself a Junkyard D44 or 8.25 out of an XJ. Totally cheapest way to do an axle upgrade. Or even get a Ford 8.8 and have somebody weld up the perches and shock mouints. Still cheaper than spending a butt load of dough on trying to polish a turd.

i agree 100%. especially if you plan on 36s. i've seen them break with only 31s haha

9 inches of lift, holy moly. what you planning on doing with this xj? fly? and again the rear needs to be a d44, sounds like your lookin to snap something...
