High all! just wanted to say hi, I am new to the Cherokee forums and just purchased a 2001 cherokee sport with the police pkg. (what ever that means I can't find alot of info as to what exactly that is) anyway
I am excited to start working on it.
I used to own a 2007 wrangler/2005 jeep grand Cherokee/ and now a 2001 Cherokee. sold the wrangler and rolled the Cherokee so here I am.
I have had it for about 2 weeks and love it.
new items as I can save the money.

welcome to the forum, maybe a moderator/admin will move this to the introductions section but it's great you've been with jeeps a long time and you're know with the finest jeep the xj, 
the police package the only things i can remember right now is that
it has the extended idle switch which keeps the revs higher when it's on.
i think the speedometer goes to 120mph
i can't remember other things possibly gears, and ho alternator...
anyway welcome and enjoy the forum

Should have the heavy duty cooling pack. Ie trans cooler and 3 row rad. Full skids front, tcase and gas tank. Possibly 3.73s
