I noticed that Cherokees 4.0L have two different electric fan modules.

From reading around I've read that the two fans have the same mechanical fitment, although the electrical connector is different. I've also read that the newer one is much quieter. I'm wondering if the newer one also moves more air, and/or is more efficient?

the s-blades move a lot more air then th old style do but it will be up to you to get it to work right

 

What does "get it to work right" mean? Just fitting it? Wiring it? I'm curious now too

 

wiring it is not a direct bolt it wire up deal you need to do some wiring to get it to work.
