New Clockspring 99 cherokee w/cruise
My cruise control recently stopped working. I have also been having the air bag light turning on and off for a little while now. It sounds like it mostly likely is the clockspring. I have looked at some auto part stores and the only one they have is one without cruise control. 1999 cherokee sport
Any recommendations where to buy one? I think i'd prefer a new one over gambling on a used one, but would maybe reconsider.
I did see one on Amazon that says it's for a wrangler but people have commented they used it to replace their cherokees.

What would you guys recommend?
Thanks,

I always go for for new MOPAR parts if available.

Seems like used cruise enabled ones are on Ebay for $80 or so.
I got a used one 3.5 years ago, and it's fine.
This might be helpful

I had the same issue with my 98 xj. I didn't want to spend the money so I pulled mine out and cracked it open to see if I could fix it. There was a solder joint at the end of the ribbon cable connecting it to a small board that had pulled loose. I re-soldered all of the solder points, put it back in, and PRESTO!, cruise control started to work again. I think I saw a thread on how to repair the clock spring on here some time back as well. So if you are handy with a soldering iron, and have the time, might want to give that a try and save some money.
EDIT: Here is the link to the post that talks about the repair for the clockspring with my posts in there as well:
