New To the Cherokee World!
Hey guys, I just got a 96 Jeep Cherokee last Wednesday. Even though I've only had it a week it has already become somewhat of an obsession. The questions that I have may sound simple to some of you guys but they are all new problems to me. The biggest problem I'm having right now is that the rear leaf springs seem to be shot. I mean, they are completely straight if not a facing down. I need to know if it would be better to replace them with new ones or to have the existing ones re-sprung? I really need to beef up the suspension, but in the cheapest way possible because funds are pretty thin these days. I don't do any trails with it but I do work Pipeline and that is pretty rough in and of itself. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Jason
P.S. I want to mount the spare on the back but all of the mounts that I've found so far require a new bumper too. Can anyone help with this?

you could do an aal to get it back to stock height in the rear, maybe an inch of lift at most. As for the tire carrier, it has to have a new bumper. If you where to just mount one to the hatch it would pull lose over time
