Default New AW4 wont engage!!

just swapped out my aw4 transmission and np231 transfer case in my 95 cherokee and the transmission will not engage in any gear. any thoughts on what the issue could be??

Are you sure all the cables and plugs are connected?

everything is hooked up, pretty sure the tcase is in 2hi. im thinking its something electrical but im not exactly sure...

are the transmission and transfer case from the same vehicle. make sure the transmission isn't the smaller spline going into the larger spline transfer case

The transmission should still engage even without any electrical hooked up, as long as the shift linkage is hooked up. Did you fill it with fluid, start the jeep, fill it with fluid again, and check it while it warmed up? Did you remember to bolt the flywheel to the torque converter? I have had guys so excited it was in that they started doing something else but forgot to put those bolts in. lol
