Default Need you help ASAP

Will i went for vacation and i let my car to my brother to use it within few weeks my brother told me that the temperature of the car reached to the end so i told him not to touch it till i come when i tried start my car it started normally but after few min the temperature starts to get higher at it was to cross the red line so i switched the car off i heard boiling sound coming from the radiator and the water was coming out from it.. i checked the the fan and it was working normally every thing was good the oils was not milky so what to do now i need your advice as this forum never let me down..my car is jeep xj sport 2001

Sounds like the thermostat is broken closed. But first, make sure the radiator is full, they go from there.

Compression test, then pressure test the cooling system.

Feel the upper and lower rad hose see if they are hot or cold will let you k know if the thermostat is stuck closed, also the 01's have a big issue with buildup in the cooling system, what color is the coolant? Also is there an engine light on? Sounds like a thermo stat but id start at the basics and run a cooling test on it local auto part stores rent it out

I would swap the t stat and check all hoses for cracks. If it still overheats ge the radiator tested.
