That sucks for you. I've got a good source for cheap, name brand rubber, and I can do the mounting and balancing myself.

The only problem people have with TSL's is the treadwear, they should not be used as a DD tire as compared to BFG or something along those lines.

TSL's rank with Simex Extreme Trekkers as some of the best offroad tires.
I agree, about not using them as a DD, they are on my 1948 CJ2A and with 5.38 gears to run 50 miles an hour turns about 3400 rpms so I trailer it if I'm going over 40 miles one way. I bought them for use as a mountain trail tire and for that they are perfect.

We went over that already lol

But if the snow is bumper high, and you gotta take the jeep, you want wide tires, you do not want to fall through that much snow.

Just wondering here, how often do you find yourself driving through bumper deep snow on 30" tires and no lift?

You are completely leaving the OP's intentions behind, and going in the wrong direction.

True, I retaliate my statements.

30" tires, General Grabber AT2's or Treadwright Guard Dogs.

Well, the big white truck is my stepsons. Usually he goes with his 2nd generation 4Runner so he can take the family. That is the Cherokee that decided me on getting a Cherokee, he did Prichertt ( spelling? ) Canyon in Moab on 31s and didn't even need a strap on rocker knocker, one of only two in our group that didn't need a strap and the sign at the entrance says a minimum of 33 inch tires.

No last time I snow wheeled with my stepson was out of Checkerboard, Montana about 15 miles east of White Springs 2+ years ago. Great snow, we only had like 12 or 13 rigs, it was one of my most memorable snow trips.
