Need some help with chirping/squeling

Hey there so I tightened my belt up and the squealing stopped I have not been able to drive to see if it stopped. It doesn't squeal when just idling and revving the engine. Thanks for all the help

I hope you didn't over-tighten the belt or else other rotating assemblies may suffer (accelerated bearing/bushing wear). Start considering belt replacement while it's still good. OEM is best but Gates makes a very good quality replacement belt.

Hey guys...I have a 1997 gczj. After changing the water pump and serp belt, chirping started. When I removed the water pump, I removed the power steering pulley as well. Torqued the water pump, but not the power steering pulley when I replaced it. Found some information stating the power steering pulley should be torqued at 20 ft lbs....does this sound right?
