I will try the grounds at the dipstick stud, i was unaware of these until now. i will probably upgrade the ground from the head to the fire wall, i just took out my subs and amp so i have about ten feet of gauge four cable. thanks for the help guys, i will keep you posted on the progress.

Well i figure i would give you an update seeing how the jeep is running perfectly now. There were a couple things wrong. First the fuel pump was dropping pressure once it started to idle resulting in rough idle and stalling out, secondly the distributor was bad, the teeth on the gear that mesh's to the crank shaft have seen much better days. So upon replacing the the fuel pump, crank shaft sensor, and distributor she purrs like a kitten, or rather roars like a lion! thanks for you help guys.
