Need to resurrect this 4.0
Sorry!~I walked all over your post mrredbaron, we all truely care about all jeep posts. I figured that all this great info about oil would be a great use to u also.
So far I have enjoyed my time using the jeep forum and I'm sure gald to have you guys to help restore (or resurrect-like you said) my Laredo. And I think I have helped a few myself with similar concerns. Cleaning up engines can lead to problems as we have all found out. I believe most of this information here will help you now or in the future. I know it has helped my 4.0L engine and just this am starting the Jeep...it was like music to my ears.

I would come up and help you, but...as you can see...it's getting cold out so it's time for indoor projects, like rebuilding my spare transfer case, distributor, etc., and making ghetto tooling for the XJ.
It's never to cold to drink beer or booze though. If I get up your way we should guzzle down a dozen or so .
