Need to replace the rear shoes...

1999 Cherokee Sport, 4x4, 5 Speed Manual, 4.0

Do I have 9 or 10 inch brakes? I dont want to take everything apart if I dont have to....

most likely 9 inch.

what rear axle do you have?

Engine: 4.0L

9 Inch will have a smooth outer edge on the drums. 10 inch will have the raised fins. You should be able to easily see these without having to remove any tires. Just look from under the rear of the jeep.
