My moms Xj had a check engine light so we brought it to autozone and they gave us 3 codes p0137 (o2 sensor) p0463 (fuel level sending unit malfunction) and p1281 (thermostat or the engine is running to cold or is taking to long to get to temp?) Are these all related in anyway or what?
The jeep xj is a 98 with 195080 miles. I would like an answer quickly so I can get the parts I need.

Fix the t-stat first and clear the codes and see if the light comes back on. If the engine is running cold for too long it may set an o2 sensor code from running too rich for too long. Put a 195 degree t-stat in there.

Mine was staying cold too long and setting the temp too low and the O2 sensor MIL. Turns out the last owner had completely removed the thermostat.
It actually runs cooler now after reaching normal operation temp. Do what the guy above said.
